2009年に自身のソロプロジェクトとして活動を開始するとすぐRAMsterdamが数多くの有名なトランスDJからのサポートを受け
Armin van BuurenのA State of Trance (ASOT) a tune of the year 2009で年間8位のトラックに選出される。
その事をきっかけにArmada、AVA、Enhanced、Future Sound of Egyptといった著名トランスレーベルから数多くの作品を
リリースするきっかけとなり、同時にRAMnesia、RAMplify、RAMbition、RAMore、RAMazingといった人気のRAMシリーズの
トラックの始まりとなった。2013年を代表するトラックとなったRAMeliaは亡き妻へのトリビュート作品だが、Beatport Trance Top 100チャートで
偉業の1カ月の間1位を記録し、ASOTでは驚異のファン投票率61.9%でぶっちぎりのFuture Favoriteを獲得するとASOTで5週という
長い間放送されASOT a tune of the year 2013では11月の初回放送にもかかわらず年間2位を獲得することとなった。 自身のブランド
Grotesqueを2009年にイベントとして始動し、Grotesque Indoor Festivalやイビザでイベントを開催するだけでなく、世界最大級の
野外トランスフェスElectric Familyや、ドイツのNature One、Amsterdam Dance Event等ビッグイベントでGrotesqueステージとしてフロア
プロデュースするまでに成長する。GrotesqueはRAM自身のラジオショーとしてのちに開始するだけでなく、コンピレーションCDや、2014年
には自身のレーベルとして展開するなど、Grotesqueブランドをトータルプロデュースする。また、2014年には7時間のソロコンサートコンセプト
Strictly RAMをオランダで開催すると、ブラジルやアルゼンチンをかわきりに世界ツアーをキックオフした。 2015年には自身のそれまでの
集大成とも言えるファーストアルバムForever Loveをリリースし、シングルカットのSomeone Like Youを筆頭に大成功を収めることとなった。
2017年にはセカンドアルバムの発売を予定しており、マルチな才能を発揮しているRAMの起点ともなる音楽家として魅力の詰まった1枚となることであろう。
EDC、ASOT、FSOE、Luminosityを始めとしたビッグフェスに登場するだけでなく、全世界をツアーするRAMの日本初来日のパフォーマンスは絶対に見逃せない。
Starting of his solo career in 2009, RAM immediately hit the jackpot with the most talked about track of that year “RAMsterdam”.
Supported by all the major trance DJ’s it became the Tune of the Year on ASOT and it was pronounced “best track of the year”
by Armin van Buuren That was the kick off to a range of great releases on big labels such as Armada, AVA, Enhanced, FSOE and Armada.
It was also the start of the very successful RAM-track series with tracks like RAMnesia, RAMplify, RAMbition, RAMore and of course the
biggest track of them all RAMelia, a tribute to his suddenly deceased wife Amelia. This track was actually the biggest track of 2013,
was holding the no.1 spot on the Beatport Trance Top 100 for 1 month but ended up 2nd in Tune of the Year on ASOT. In between touring
the world with shows in Asia, Australia, USA, Canada, South-America, different countries in Europe and playing on some of the biggest
festivals in Europe, RAM kept on producing great tracks in 2014 such as Sledgehammer, Mirakuru (collab with Arctic Moon), Kingdom Of
Dreams and Epic, all released on big labels such as ASOT, Digital Society, FSOE and AVA recordings. RAMore and Clockwork Orange were
the first two releases on RAM’s own record label Grotesque Music, named after his brand Grotesque, which saw the light in September
2014. At the end of 2014 RAM played Grotesque in Concert with…. RAM. At this event he played a six hour set taking people on a
journey of his music from 2009 until now. 2015 picked up where 2014 had left off with a lot of club shows and big festivals like ASOT700,
EDC Orlando, Grotesque Indoor Festival, Electronic Family, Enchanted Valley Carnival, Paradise Trance Festival, Summerlake and a lot of
hard work putting his debut album “Forever Love” together. Forever Love was released June 29th 2015 on Black Hole Recordings and was a
huge success with the hit singles Someone Like You, All Gone, End of Times, Elijah, Heartfelt and Circle Of Life. For 2016 RAM has
already lined-up some big shows like Dreamstate and he’ll be finishing his second artist album too, which will be released just before summer.
