現在のアメリカEDMシーンのライジングスターとしてもっとも注目を集める、 WOLFGANG GARTNERことJOEY YOUNGMAN は13歳でDJをはじめ、 地元テキサスでハウスやソウルのサウンドに没頭しファンキーなトラックを制作していた。 2007年にWOLFGANG GARTNER名義で活動を始めてからは、よりエレクトロなハウスサウンド を追求しいきなり３曲のトラックがBeatport 1位を獲得、その後もコンスタントにNO.1トラック をリリースし続けその数は現在では実に８曲を数える。これまでにも、Skrillex、 deadmau5、Will I am、Mark Knightらと共作を送り出し、2011年にはオリジナル・フルアルバム、 『Weekend in America』をドロップ、その年のグラミー賞ではベストリミキサーとしてノミネート されるまでの実力となっていたのである。彼が今では Coachella, EDC, Ultra, Parklifeや Creamfieldsなどのビッグフェスティバルの常連アーティストとなったとのは当然の結果であった。 2012年もTiestoとのコラボトラックや、「Redline」、「Flexx」などのフロアアンセムをリリース する一方、LMFAOのリ ミックスが大ヒットするなど彼の勢いはとどまることをしらず、 現在まさにシーンが最も注目するDJ/Producerである。 - 2011 Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording. - Nominee for 2011 Radio 1 Essential Mix of The Year. - Illmerica' and 'Forever' both made Radio 1 A Rotation. - Signed to Ultra Records in the US and Ministry in the UK. - He was the host of the first ever episode of MTV Clubland. - He has had 8 different singles go #1 on Beatport. - Has collaborated with Deadmau5 and Skrillex (has future collaborations on the way with Tiesto and Hardwell respectively). - Nominated for 4 IDMA Awards in 2011. - Has played Coachella, EDC, Ultra, Parklife, and Creamfields festivals. - New single 'Red Line' coming out on Ultra in April w/ a new music video.
